Annie Dauksch

Program Intern

Annie (she/her) is the program intern at Creative Art Works, beginning in 2025. She was born and raised in Orlando, Fla., and now lives in Brooklyn, N.Y., while participating in an Arts & Activism program facilitated by the University of Vermont. It is a semester-long program in New York City focusing on community, art and activism, using the visual arts and the city as a lens for understanding social issues.

Annie is a senior English major and Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies minor at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt. She is especially interested in the connection between art and social change, literature, writing, and exploring issues surrounding mental health, gender inequality and LGBTQ+ communities. Her work experience includes customer service, food service and childcare; she has been a nanny for eight years. In her free time, Annie enjoys visiting art museums, petting dogs, spending time outdoors, collaging, journaling, swimming, and spending time with friends and family.
